About Juan & Manuela
Manuela Rossi and Juan Malizia Gatti have been dancing together for 7 years, since 2012. In 2014 they were part of the world-renowned movie "Our Last Tango" where Juan had the leading role as a young Juan Carlos Copes. They are also Mundial Champions in the Stage Tango Category. Dancers, teachers and choreographers, they have been part of many shows and companies, such as 'Cafe de Los Angelitos', 'Tango Lovers', 'Tango Legends', 'Dramatic Tango' and 'Ayres de Tango'. Now they spend their time touring and judging the most prestigious events, festivals, competitions and tango schools around the world.
Manuela was a Professional Ballet Dancer from Argentina's National Ballet School: "Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colon" and made a two-year intensive program at "Ècole Superièure de Danse de Cannes" in France. On her return to Argentina in 2007, she started dancing tango, taking lessons with Melina Bruffman, Claudio Gonzalez, Sabrina & Ruben Veliz, German Cornejo, Carolina Bonaventura, Franciso Forquera, Fabian Peralta, Rene Amaya, and Martin Ojeda. Juan started tango very young at the age of 14 in his home town of San Nicolas, and later added support from other disciplines such as jazz, ballet and also martial arts. Dancer of comprehensive artistic training, he has studied with the leading teachers of Argentine tango, Gustavo Russo, Jorge Torres, Roberto Herrera, Claudio Gonzalez and Melina Brufman, Gachi Fernandez and German Cornejo and Classical Dance and Fly'N Low with Mariela Ruggeri and Monica Souto.
